A rather slow week, photographically speaking. Perhaps the heat puts a damper on everything.

Because this was the last week I had with my son for the next several months, I tried to spend a lot of time with him. One day we met up for lunch at Capricho de Raquel, one of his favourite restaurants:

On Sunday, I cycled to Benidorm, stopping along the way to photograph this old carriage, left as a decoration, with Alicante in the background on the right:

The summer in Alicante is hot, and the pets, especially the dog, spend most of the day seeking relief from the heat and using as little energy as possible:

Our neighbour’s little dog had major surgery earlier this year, but he seems to have recovered well:

Yet another reason I dislike golf and golf courses. Every few weeks, the place get fumigated so that the precious golfers do not get bitten by mosquitos. I hate the idea that poison gets spread in the air for such a frivolous reason, and my cat does not like it one bit either:
