No trips this week, just work and some cycling and walking my dog.

I developed and scanned a roll of Tri-X which had one of my favourite London pictures on it:

On Monday, I went out for lunch with my team at a beach restaurant. Afterwards, I asked them to indulge me for a few minutes while I took a couple of infrared pictures of Urbanova beach:

Tuesday morning, I was again at my physio’s office, and explored the plants in my treatment room and the neighbouring one:

On Thursday, we went out for lunch again. In April, we will get a new colleague on my team, Chris, a Seconded National Expert from the UK Intellectual Property Office. This week, he was in Alicante to look for an apartment, and so we took the opportunity to meet up with him in the pleasant surroundings of a tapas restaurant downtown. Here is Francisco, our tapas expert, studying the menu:

Chris, getting his introduction to lunch, Spanish style:

Carolina, picking at the food. The way a typical Spanish lunch functions is that plates of food are put on the table to share, and everyone just takes what they want:

On Friday evening, we visited our Argentine/Catalan friends Eliott and Axunta. Their little dog has a rash on her legs, so she has to wear the lamp shade to keep her from licking it:

Saturday morning, while walking Cheeta, I went back to exploring the trees in the park with my Leica:

Later on Saturday, I went for my usual bike ride in the mountains. I have passed this ruin of a chapel many times and have often thought of photographing it, but somehow never got around to it. This time, however, nature called quite persistently, so I answered the call and took the picture:

Just 10 km further, on the outskirts of Jijona, the weather started looking decidedly iffy. But I made it home without getting soaked:
