A short blog this week, I was busy at work and relatively uninspired. But as always, my bicycle rides provided me with nice views, and I also recorded some sights while commuting and working.

One day I had to use public transport to get home because my daughter’s car was in the garage, and being a good father, I let her use mine to go to the university. So I came home using the free shuttle bus to the centre provided by my office, and then taking the tram home from there. I spent about 20 minutes waiting for the tram at the Postiguet beach, the main beach in central Alicante. The day was ending and people were leaving the beach. That is when the coin hunters come with their metal detectors:

Pidgin translation made me smile:

Then my tram arrived. It really is more like a light-rail system, running from the centre of Alicante as far north as Benidorm, about 50 km away:

Masks are still required here in most indoor situations, including public transport:

I saw some really nice skies this week, beginning with some shafts of light during a morning ride to Aigues:

Another morning, sunrise along the beach:

Threatening clouds, from my office terrace, but it was an empty threat–not a drop of rain:

I finished the week on the mountainbike on the Vía Verde. While taking a brief break, I spotted a cyclist in the distance, who was seriously “off-piste”:

There were quite a few walkers and cyclists on the trail:

Dogs, too:
