The week was quiet–no trips, no special events, just work, cycling, walking Cheeta and other similarly mundane activities.

I have recently acquired several new whiskies for my “whisky altar” in the living room. The whiskies in this stash come from Scotland, Wales, the US, India, Japan and Ireland. There is also Cuban rum, Spanish brandy and Polish vodka in there, in addition to the French champagne. My kind of international cooperation (oh, and the picture above is one of my photos from Berlin):

I continue to explore the naked trees which are now sprouting new shoots:

Sometimes I do not even leave my room to take pictures. Especially when Cheeta is there, sleeping on her doggie bed, there are often photo opportunities:

Our friend and my ex-colleague Egle, who now lives in Vigo at the other end of Spain, came for a brief visit, and we had lunch together at a modest local restaurant. So modest that there is no printed menu; you simply get their paper diary in which the dishes are handwritten. But the menu (starter, main dish, dessert/coffee and a drink) is only 10 Euro and the food is good:

The remaining pictures this week were taken while cycling. The sky was particularly nice one day when I cycled past Busot:

During another ride, I stopped to pee and noticed the yellow flowers surviving on the edge of the road:

I then decided that I needed to photograph them from a more interesting vantage point:
