Another quiet week, working, cycling, looking around for images. I shot a roll of Tri-X film in my Leica M2, so there is a bit of grain in this blog 🙂

While out cycling, I noticed a gathering of motorcycles along the beach. So on Sunday afternoon, I went back there to have a look. It was a gathering sponsored by Harley, and there were all manner of Harleys around. As is usually the case, there were a lot of individual details:

The setting; people walking on the beach promenade had something different to look at:

Rear rack ornaments of this kind are common among Harley folk (and other motorcyclists):

Typical Harley couple. What is not visible in this image is that the guy had one leg amputated below the knee and was riding with a prosthesis:

This was very much a family-friendly event (as are most events in Spain):

One morning, as I was arriving at the office, I saw the morning light in a different way:

On Friday, we made a last visit to Hostal Maruja this season. Normally they close for the winter at the end of October, but because of the good weather this autumn, they decided to stay open until November 20th. So we had one more opportunity to enjoy this view while having lunch:

To see such scenes in the second half of November…:

Once in a while I shoot a roll of film, and this week I finished a roll of Tri-X in my Leica M2. A classic combination if there ever was one. Here is how the film reproduced a cloudy sky over the Mediterranean as seen from my office:

I also used the M2 (with a 50mm Summilux lens from 1961) at our monthly wine tasting. In this and the next two images I focused on the presenter but also caught some funny expressions among his companions or in the audience:

A couple of pictures taken during my golf lesson on Saturday morning. This is the 18th hole of our golf course. When the sky looks interesting, I pop over to have a look (the 18th hole is close to the practice range):

Next, two cycling pictures. The road to Jijona with nice sky:

Finally, some nice morning colours seen while walking Cheeta:

An enjoyable assortment! That poor sheep will REALLY feel lost.
I especially like the last two.
