After the excitement of the week in Italy it was back to the daily life of work, cycling, being with friends etc. Christmas is approaching which will be evident in this week’s photos.

I arrived back from Milan Saturday afternoon. Later that day, Barcelona was playing Real Madrid, and a group of friends came to our place to watch the big match. Cani is a madrilista, so he was worried during large parts of the match, as Barcelona dominated and took a 1-0 lead:

Cheeta was watching too:

The women watched too, but less intensely than the men:

Finally, in the 89th minute, Sergio Ramos equalises for Madrid, to Cani’s great relief. The match ended 1-1:

Katie has been with us for five years, but is now leaving for a job with a private company in Barcelona:

As I do once or twice a week, I went out for lunch in the centre, and went for a walk around the Mercado Central. Inside the Mercado, the approaching holiday is in evidence:

One morning, I liked the colours of the sky in the distance, so I grabbed the camera, put a 135mm lens on it and went up to our roof terrace:

At the weekend, I was out cycling in the mountains again. There were some threatening clouds but things stayed dry:

I cycled to Jijona to have a look at their outdoor nativity scene, which I always find impressive:
