This week we start with Big Hair in our bathroom. My 11-year old daughter has long, beautiful hair which, however, requires lots of maintenance:

Then on to Amsterdam. On Sunday the 26th March I met up with a couple of other local members of the Leica Users Group to see the Cartier-Bresson exhibition at the FOAM gallery on Keizersgracht. Here is one of them, Bruce, obviously inspired by the images on the walls:

Here is a couple at the exhibition, looking at the images on display with great concentration:

We followed the exhibition by having lunch in an Italian restaurant on nearby Rembrandtplein. The weather was nice, so we could sit outside and watch the human traffic on the square, including this little girl watching a puppeteer perform:

A few minutes later, while the performer was doing the rounds of the tables to collect money, the little girl summoned her courage and went to have a closer look at the puppets:

The final two images are from the best-known beach in the Netherlands, Scheveningen in The Hague. It was cold and windy and not exactly beach weather, but a few people were still out and about. I cannot make up my mind whether the scene works best in colour or black & white, so I show both here:

I prefer the coloured beach pic as it looks more like a 50s postcard, but then I like the couple and the dog on the B&W. Hummm! A hard one to pick. M.
