Normally, I do not talk about equipment. My position is that the pictures should speak for themselves and that technical data is fundamentally uninteresting. However, this week I just mention that my Leica M8 has gone back to Germany for a repair of the main switch, so in the meantime I am mainly using the Panasonic LX3 point and shoot. All the pictures this week were taken while walking my dog or riding my bicycle.

Thursday I had lunch at one of my favourite restaurants, El Capricho de Raquel. One advantage of always having the camera in the pocket is that you are ready to snap interesting scenes, even when (as here) it is just the view through the window of the men’s room:

El Campello harbour, Saturday morning; a fisherman works on his nets while his dog sits guard:
Alternate 8
El Campello harbour, Saturday morning; a cat scouts the sea, presumably for incoming fishing boats and the consequent goodies that follow:
As usual a very nice group of images. I think that the glass block men’s room photo is
neat1 It pays to have your camera with you all the time..Did you up grade the operating system on your LX-3?
