Two parties in this short blog, and not much else. We had our department pre-summer break party on Wednesday evening, and at the weekend our friend Iñaki in Benidorm celebrated his 64th birthday with a poolside party.

Stephanie fractured a bone in her arm a couple of weeks ago and so has been teleworking. She lives outside the city in a place with no public transport; she cannot drive right now, but she made sure that someone drove her to the dinner. Stephanie is not one to miss such occasions:

On Friday afternoon I stopped for a beer at Malatesta, and there was a funny juxtaposition of hand sanitizer and a chupito. I call this image Covid Chupito:

At the weekend we attended our friend Iñaki’s birthday party. He lives in Benidorm, around 45 km from here, and has a large garden with a pool and lots of space for frolicking. There is always a BBQ element as well:
