A short blog for this week by my standards. It was a busy week, and most of the photos are of people around me, and a few taken during my bike rides.

We had a department meeting during the week, and we always start these meetings with the introduction of newcomers. This time we had several, each of whom introduced themselves briefly, starting with Beréngère from France:

And Harrie, originally from the Netherlands:

Then we went on with the meeting, with Ana presenting some communications results:

Back to my morning bike rides, another gorgeous sunrise:

I am normally in a hurry to finish my ride on weekdays, but when I saw this woman with her dog walking in my direction, I just had to wait:

We have an art club at the office, called WeArt, of which I am the treasurer. On Thursday we had the annual general meeting, as required by the rules for social clubs. We have around 40 members, but as is normal in these clubs, only a few showed up for the meeting, the dedicated hard core:

The president of the club, Kari (the only extrovert Finn I have ever met), goes through the agenda:

Carmen makes a suggestion:

On Friday I had another lens testing session with Eri, this time using an Olympus 1.8/50mm lens on my Panasonic, of course wide open:

I finished the week with another bike ride Sunday morning, to Jijona, passing a large field of artichokes, just about the only real agriculture we have in the immediate vicinity:

An almond tree by the side of the road. Spring is clearly coming:
