A very quiet week, busy at work and not much spare time. But since I always have a camera with me, the week was not completely barren.

On Sunday morning I cycled south to Santa Pola, first stopping at the beach Urbanova, enjoying the view of the city from there:

In Santa Pola, a large fishing harbour, some of the fishermen were tending to their boats and nets:

On my way home, I stopped at Urbanova again. Now there were some more people on the beach:

In the afternoon, Balu came to visit. He was wearing a t-shirt because he had been bitten by another dog, the t-shirt kept him from licking the wound:

Back to cycling, one morning there was a glorious combination of clouds and sunshine:

On Thursday afternoon our book club met to discuss the book of the month, Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell (a great historical novel). As usual, we met at the Pynchon café, attached to a bookshop of the same name. I always like looking at the other guests:
